Resin bond mounted points are made from a mixture of abrasive grains and synthetic resin. The abrasive grains are either made from diamond or cubic boron nitride (CBN) - two of the hardest materials available. The resin used in the bond is either phenolic or polyimide depending on the temperature of use.
