Compared with CCD projection amplification method, laser scanning projection method is not affected by the CCD size and the pixel size. As long as the laser speckle is small enough and the speed of the scanning motor is high enough, this method can achieve high accuracy and measuring speed. Gongjiu developed a new edge measuring method on the basis of the laser scanning projection method, which widely expand the measurement range.

This new method has successfully applied to the diameter measurement of extra-large caliber.

Gongjiu develops the phase-locked technology for multiple motors, which can achieve the diameter scanning measurement for more than 4 axes.

The image processing technology developed by Gongjiu can achieve high-resolution diameter value with scanning speed up to 7500 RPM.
