EVA is a flexible, rubber-like copolymer with excellent softness, low-temperature toughness, and good clarity. Its properties vary widely with vinyl acetate content. Low-VA EVA is used for film and cable insulation, while high-VA EVA provides strong adhesion for hot-melt adhesives and foam applications. Major uses include shoe midsoles, yoga mats, solar cell encapsulant films, and packaging foams. Modification significantly expands EVA’s utility: crosslinked EVA foam offers higher resilience for sports equipment. Flame-retardant EVA grades are formulated for wire and cable jacketing in mass transit. EVA/PE blends improve processability for blown film. Anti-static EVA is used for electronics packaging. EVA foams can be pigmented and embossed for floor mats. UV-stabilized EVA extends outdoor life for agricultural films. Medical-grade EVA is used for tubing and drug delivery patches .link:http://www.custom-plastic-mold.com
